Role Overview
Numata Business IT needs a Level 2 Support Engineer (JHB) who can step into a practical role in Randpark Ridge. A key part of the work involves Conduct routine maintenance on Windows Servers, ensuring patching, role health, and security configurations are in line with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team by managing collaborate with the Service Delivery or IT Infrastructure team on improvement initiatives related to security, compliance, and service uptime.
- Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Level 2 Support Engineer (JHB).
- Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
- Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.
- Maintain a professional standard of delivery, communication and follow-through.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in security or a closely related field.
- Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
- Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
