Legal Advisor

Synopsis

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Advisor to provide legal guidance, manage legal risks and ensure the organisation complies with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide legal advice and guidance to management and staff.
2. Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
3. Research legislation, regulations and legal matters.
4. Identify potential legal risks and recommend solutions.
5. Ensure company policies comply with applicable laws.
6. Assist with disputes, negotiations and legal proceedings.
7. Liaise with external attorneys and legal professionals.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

1. LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
2. Admission as an attorney may be required, depending on the role.
3. Relevant experience in legal advisory or corporate law.
4. Strong knowledge of South African legislation.
5. Excellent research, writing and analytical abilities.
