About the Role 

We are seeking experienced and results-driven Lead Generation Specialists to join our 24/7 customer engagement team. This role combines advanced customer support responsibilities with proactive lead generation and sales qualification activities for an international market. 


As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will handle escalated customer inquiries, nurture prospective clients, identify sales opportunities, and support business growth through high-quality customer interactions. 


The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills, sales acumen, and the ability to build rapport with customers and prospects.

 

Key Responsibilities 


Customer Support 

  • Manage escalated customer queries that require advanced problem-solving and decision-making. 
  • Resolve complex customer concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Act as a point of contact for Customer Service Agents when assistance is required. 
  • Document customer interactions accurately within CRM and support systems. 
  • Identify recurring customer issues and provide recommendations for process improvements. 
  • Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards. 


Lead Generation & Sales Support 

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities through phone, email, and other communication channels. 
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on established criteria. 
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for Sales Consultants or Account Executives. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers. 
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records within CRM systems. 
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline. 
  • Meet individual and team lead generation and conversion targets. 

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate. 
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service, lead generation, telesales, or call centre environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. 
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship-building abilities. 
  • Experience working with CRM systems. 
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills. 
  • Ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally and effectively. 
  • Comfortable working towards performance and lead generation targets. 
  • Availability to work rotational shifts. 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting international customers or clients. 
  • Experience in B2B/B2C lead generation. 
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and customer qualification frameworks. 
  • Previous mentoring or coaching experience within a call centre environment. 
  • Experience with CRM platforms.

Working Hours 

This position operates within a 24-hour customer engagement environment supporting clients and customers across various time zones. 

Successful candidates must be willing to work rotational shifts, including: 

  • Day shifts 
  • Evening shifts 
  • Overnight shifts 
  • Weekends 
  • Public holidays 

Shift schedules will be provided in advance and aligned with operational requirements.
