Landscape Designer

Synopsis

We are looking for a creative Landscape Designer to plan and design attractive, functional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will combine creativity and technical knowledge to develop landscape concepts for residential, commercial and public environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop landscape designs, layouts and planting plans.
2. Create design concepts, sketches and 3D visualisations.
3. Select suitable plants, materials and outdoor features.
4. Prepare technical drawings, specifications and project proposals.
5. Collaborate with architects, contractors and clients.
6. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and monitor project progress.
7. Ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets and environmental considerations.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

1. A qualification in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture or a related field.
2. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar tools.
3. Knowledge of plants, materials and landscape design principles.
4. A strong portfolio demonstrating creative design abilities.
5. Previous experience in landscape design is advantageous.
