The successful candidate will manage raw materials and finished product quality. This role involves strict laboratory testing, product development support, and maintaining ISO compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: National Diploma or BTech in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of laboratory experience in chemical manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in titration, pH testing, and viscosity measurement.
- Software: Competent in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., Syspro/SAP).
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and ethical judgment.
- Perform routine analytical tests on raw materials and finished batches.
- Release certified products to production and packaging departments.
- Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot out-of-specification (OOS) batches.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment.
- Document all test results precisely in internal quality databases.
- Assist chemical engineers with product development and formulation adjustments.
- Enforce health and safety regulations (OHSA) within the laboratory
