About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and assisting with testing procedures. You will work closely with scientists, technicians, and laboratory staff to ensure accurate results while maintaining a safe and organised laboratory environment.

What You'll Do

Prepare, label, and process laboratory samples for testing
Assist with laboratory experiments, testing, and analysis
Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
Record test results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation
Ensure laboratory supplies are stocked and organised
Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards at all times
Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety regulations
Support laboratory staff with daily administrative and technical tasks

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Previous laboratory or scientific experience is advantageous
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing procedures
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Basic computer literacy and experience with laboratory information systems (advantageous)
