Kaizen Workshop Apprentice
We are currently looking for a Kaizen Workshop Apprentice to support continuous improvement initiatives by assisting in Kaizen workshops, identifying inefficiencies, and contributing to process improvement projects.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (technical subjects advantageous)
- N2–N3 Engineering Studies (advantageous, not mandatory)
- Basic exposure to mechanical/workshop environment
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Hand and power tools (drilling, grinding, fitting)
- Basic fabrication (cutting, drilling, mounting)
- Intro-level welding (tack welding, MIG preferred)
- Minor repairs, re-threading, and adjustments
- Trolley, rack, and airline modifications
- Hand and power tools (drilling, grinding, fitting)
- Basic fabrication (cutting, drilling, mounting)
- Intro-level welding (tack welding, MIG preferred)
- Minor repairs, re-threading, and adjustments
- Trolley, rack, and airline modifications
- Apprentice / junior technical resource
- Hands-on, practical “fixer” mindset
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Support Kaizen workshops with rapid implementation
- Perform fabrication and workstation modifications
- Drive closure of improvement and MSQ actions
- Faster Kaizen implementation and waste elimination
