Junior Service Advisor

An established dealership is seeking a Junior Service Advisor to join their service team.

This role is ideal for a customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and assisting clients with their vehicle service and maintenance needs.


The successful candidate will act as the link between customers and technicians, ensuring a smooth service experience while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide professional, friendly service
  • Schedule service and maintenance appointments
  • Prepare and manage repair orders and service documentation
  • Communicate with customers regarding service progress and repairs
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times
  • Provide clear explanations of maintenance and repair work to customers
  • Promote service products, accessories, and maintenance plans where appropriate
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed services
  • Maintain accurate service records and administrative documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, retail, or a contact centre environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email)
  • Basic knowledge of automotive terminology or mechanics would be advantageous
  • Matric / Grade 12 required
