Junior Sales Representative – Renewable Energy – Cape Town
Are you a driven salesperson who thrives on prospecting, building relationships and closing deals?
Our client in Cape Town is seeking a self-motivated individual who enjoys identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships. While experience in the renewable energy sector will be an advantage, comprehensive product training will be provided.
Own reliable transport and a valid SA driving license are required.

Requirements:
- Matric or similar qualification
- Willing to use own vehicle for work purposes (fuel is covered by the company)
- Proven external sales experience with a strong track record of new business development
- Experience in cold calling and generating your own sales opportunities
- Ability to confidently present solutions and negotiate with decision-makers
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and closing skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office and CRM systems)
- Experience within renewable energy, electrical, solar, batteries or related technical industries would be highly advantageous
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and market research
- Schedule and attend face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients
- Promote and sell battery and energy storage solutions to installers, distributors and renewable energy companies
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
- Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations
- Follow up on leads and sales enquiries in a timely manner
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM database and sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the owner to ensure smooth order processing and customer service delivery
