Junior Operations Manager – Ceres
Have you completed a qualification in Civil / Industrial Engineering, or Business/Operations/Logistics with a minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Project Management?
Our client in Ceres, a site solutions provider to the construction, events & agricultural sectors require a forward-thinking individual to get involved on the ground to take charge of day-to-day operations, oversee fleet & staff performance ensuring reliable service delivery to clients across Boland and wider Western Cape.
This role requires strong practical problem-solving, decision-making, planning & organisational skills.

REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualification in civil/industrial engineering/mechanical engineering or business/operations/logistics
- 5 years’ experience within these industries
- Experience in operations management or project management
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Adaptable and flexible to work extended hours
- Ability to work under pressure and handle after-hours crises
- Strong people, leadership and fleet management skills
- Good planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Accountability and decision-making ability
- Leadership and team coordination
- Customer service orientated
- Practical, hands-on management style within a fast-paced industry
- Manage day-to-day operations of sanitation and facilities rental units at events and sites
- Plan and optimize service routes and schedules

- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Monitor service quality and resolve client issues promptly
