Our client in Paarl is seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Coordinator who excels at managing logistical and on-site operations, ensuring seamless project execution. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication with various teams.

A valid drivers license and own reliable transport is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar field essential
Min 2 years’ experience in logistics, fleet coordination or events
Valid Code B drivers’ licence (code C or EC an advantage) essential
Availability to be on site for the full event (a few days or longer) with expenses covered by the company
Strong computer literacy
Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines
Reliable, accountable, and customer-focused team player
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Practical, hands-on management style

DUTIES

Route planning and logistics
Planning sanitation layouts and unit quantities based on event size and regulations
Liaising with event organizers to accommodate changes and resolve issues quickly
Coordination and management of drivers, vehicles, cleaning teams and equipment and all operational teams
Stock: Manage stock availability as well as chemicals, consumables, spare parts etc.)
Monitoring service quality during events and handling emergency callouts
Tracking logistics costs, fuel usage and operational efficiency
Understanding and implementing of health, safety and hygiene regulations
Asset management of fleet and equipment
Leadership and team coordination
Customer service orientation
Cost control and efficiency improvement

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
