The Talent Room is hiring a Junior IT Technician in George. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to building, supporting or improving systems that people rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
Support the team by managing matric ( IT- related certification or studies advantageous).
Take ownership of Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Junior IT Technician.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of it work.
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
