Synopsis

An advanced product and manufacturing environment is seeking a Junior Industrial Designer to help develop practical, ergonomic, and visually considered product solutions. The role bridges creative design work with engineering and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop concepts and design options from defined requirements.
Prepare sketches, layouts, and presentation material.
Support 3D modelling and design-detail development.
Consider ergonomics, materials, manufacture, and user experience.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality stakeholders.
Update design documentation following review feedback.
Assist with prototypes, testing, and design refinements.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Degree or diploma in industrial design, product design, or a related discipline.
Two to three years of relevant design or product-development experience.
Working knowledge of design and modelling software.
Ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.
Portfolio demonstrating practical and user-focused design work.
