Our client is seeking a Junior CNC Operator with some hands-on CNC experience and a strong willingness to learn and grow within a high-precision woodworking environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their CNC career who is eager to develop technical skills, gain exposure to advanced machinery, and work within a highly skilled production team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines under supervision
Load materials, set tooling, and support machine preparation
Follow CAD drawings and basic toolpath instructions
Monitor machine operation and report any issues or errors
Assist with finishing, quality checks, and basic measurements
Support maintenance, cleaning, and general workshop duties
Learn machine processes, tooling, and production workflows
Work closely with senior operators and production team

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

1–2 years’ CNC operating or manufacturing experience (advantageous)
Basic understanding of CNC machines and workshop processes
Ability to read simple technical drawings (advantageous)
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Interest in woodworking, manufacturing, or precision machining
Valid South African ID or work permit
