Role Overview

AD HOC is hiring a Junior Accountant (Middelburg) in Middleburg (Mpumalanga). The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to bringing accuracy, control and clear commercial thinking to the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing interfacing with accounting and tax professionals.
Support the team by managing b.Comm Accounting degree or equivalent Diploma.
Take ownership of 3-5 years' experience of full accounting function up to Trial Balance.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Junior Accountant (Middelburg).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
