IT SUPERVISOR

Location: Silverton, Tshwane
Employment Type: Permanent

A leading organisation is seeking a technically skilled IT Supervisor to oversee daily IT operations, provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure and assist with application development and system integrations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
1–3 years’ experience in IT support, systems or network administration.
Supervisory/coordinating experience advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux, Microsoft 365 and networking.
Hardware/software troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, backups and data protection.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willing to work occasional night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily IT support operations and provide first/second-line support.
Maintain systems, networks, servers and IT equipment.
Troubleshoot technical issues and monitor system performance/security.
Support cybersecurity, backups, upgrades and installations.
Assist with application development and third-party integrations.
Manage IT assets, documentation, user training and vendor relationships.
