About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for agricultural, commercial, and residential properties. You will ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently to promote healthy landscapes and maximise water conservation.

What You’ll Do

Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems and equipment

Diagnose and repair faults in pumps, valves, pipes, sprinklers, and controllers

Perform routine maintenance and system testing

Monitor water usage and recommend improvements for efficiency

Read and interpret irrigation plans and technical drawings

Ensure compliance with safety standards and water conservation practices

Maintain accurate service records and reports

Provide clients with guidance on system operation and maintenance

Requirements

Relevant qualification or certification in Irrigation, Plumbing, Agriculture, or a related field (advantageous)

Previous experience installing or maintaining irrigation systems

Knowledge of irrigation equipment, pumps, and automated control systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Valid driver's licence (preferred)
