Invoicing Clerk - FMCG and Food Industry

Role Overview

Capture invoices and inter-branch transfers for an FMCG and food operation in Johannesburg, verify outbound loads and maintain accurate stock, customer and logistics documentation.

Responsibilities

• Capture sales-order invoices and inter-branch transfers accurately.
• Check sales orders against deposit slips, picking slips and load documentation.
• Verify stock before truck loading and maintain outbound-order documentation.
• Request certificates of analysis and submit supply-chain documents for dispatch.
• Service collections customers and process returns, goods-received invoices and related records.
• Complete monthly reconciliation slips, accounting-system reconciliations, filing and general administration.
• Submit authorised departmental overtime records.
• Maintain invoice, stock and transfer accuracy so vehicles are not delayed.

Requirements

• Matric.
• Two to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with accounting systems is advantageous.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Accurate administration, customer service and documentation discipline.
