Role Overview

A hands-on Inventory Supervisor is required on the East Rand to manage stock accuracy, cycle counts, replenishment, damages, expiries, supplier returns, and inventory assistants.

Responsibilities

Facilitate daily stock counts, investigate variances, and provide detailed reports.
Keep stock flowing from IBTs to locations and clear backlogs.
Manage weekly cycle counts and prepare for semi-annual stock counts.
Manage supplier returns, damages, expiries, and IBT processes.
Manage daily and weekly demand and forced replenishments.
Investigate short-pick reports and maintain a short-pick percentage below 2%.
Manage stock rotation, expiry checks, damages, credits, and supplier collections.
Prepare weekly KPI reports and daily handovers.
Manage stock clerks and warehouse inventory assistants.
Drive accountability, address process deviations, and contribute to warehouse KPIs.

Requirements

Minimum two years' relevant inventory or warehouse experience.
Experience with stock counts, variance investigations, and inventory accuracy.
Experience managing or supervising stock clerks or inventory assistants is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, reporting, communication, and warehouse-systems skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
