Role Overview

Manage inventory operations in KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring accurate stock records, reliable controls, effective reporting, and a well-managed inventory team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory activities and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Develop inventory-control procedures to reduce discrepancies, losses, and wastage.
• Lead cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliations.
• Maintain inventory-tracking systems and coordinate integration with other departments.
• Report on inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock performance to support management decisions.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the inventory team.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and address inventory-related risks.

Requirements

• Demonstrated inventory-management and stock-control experience.
• Experience with audits, reconciliations, inventory systems, reporting, and risk controls.
• Team leadership, analytical, process-improvement, and cross-functional coordination skills.
