Our client is appointing an Inventory Controller to improve stock accuracy and reduce shrink in a busy retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who is process-driven and comfortable working with stock systems and counts. You will support cycle counts, investigate variances, and ensure stock movement is recorded correctly. Conduct cycle counts and support stock takes, ensuring counts are accurate and documented.
Investigate variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with store teams.
Monitor receiving, transfers, and adjustments to ensure system integrity and approvals.
Maintain stock accuracy reports and communicate risks to management.
Support stockroom organisation to improve picking efficiency and reduce loss risk.
Work with loss prevention on shrink trends and prevention routines.
Ensure stock procedures are followed consistently and provide training where required.

Matric essential.
2–5 years inventory/stock control experience, ideally in retail.
Experience with inventory systems and Excel reporting.
Strong attention to detail and strong investigation skills.
Ability to work early shifts and during stock takes.
Strong communication skills and process discipline.
