Synopsis

A medical-device distribution business is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to maintain accurate stock records across its branches and replenishment warehouse. The role requires strong reconciliation skills, practical understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to monitor inventory risk and ageing stock.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure inventory records remain accurate across all branches.
Manage daily inventory control within the replenishment warehouse.
Reconcile physical stock to system records accurately and timeously.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Monitor inventory holding risk and ageing stock.
Maintain accurate stock-movement information within the ERP system.
Support warehouse and inventory-control processes.
Assist with improving inventory visibility and stock accuracy.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Two to four years of relevant Inventory Controller or Stock Controller experience.
BCom in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Management, or a relevant diploma.
Good understanding of inventory-control and warehouse processes.
Practical experience with Sage or a similar ERP or inventory-management system.
Knowledge of RFID technology within inventory control is advantageous.
