International Trader
An established seafood company is seeking an International Trader – Global Sourcing & Market Development to manage and grow global buying and selling activities across international markets.
The role focuses on sourcing seafood products worldwide, developing new markets, and executing end-to-end international trade deals, including negotiation, logistics, trade finance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Global Sourcing & Supply Development
- Source seafood products from international origin markets
- Build and manage global supplier relationships
- Negotiate supply agreements and ensure quality and reliability
- Diversify sourcing to reduce supply risk
- Develop new global customer accounts and markets
- Match international supply with market demand
- Conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities
- Structure and negotiate buy/sell transactions
- Manage pricing, allocation, and margin performance
- Execute contracts from agreement to delivery
- Coordinate international shipping and freight
- Manage documentation, customs, and delivery processes
- Resolve supply chain disruptions
- Manage payment structures (LCs, TT, collections)
- Assess credit and counterparty risk
- Monitor currency exposure and protect margins
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Monitor pricing trends, supply conditions, freight markets, and geopolitical risks
- Provide insights and recommendations to management
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in international trading, sourcing, or commodity trading
- Strong knowledge of global logistics, Incoterms, and trade finance
- Experience with pricing strategy, FX exposure, and contract negotiation
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and advanced Excel
