REQUIREMENTS

Matric
2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
Self-driven with initiative, deadline driven, excellent planning & organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands and conditions
High attention to detail, enthusiastic and committed
Experience within the Warehouse and Retail industry
Experience working with electrical equipment and tools
Understanding of sales performance metrics

DUTIES

Process customer orders received via email and telephone, while providing assistance to walk-in customers at the sales counter
Proactively contact prospective customers and follow up on sales leads, directing opportunities to the appropriate External Sales Representatives where required
Ensure all order information is accurate and captured correctly before processing
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered within agreed timeframes
Assist with quarterly stock-taking activities and inventory counts
Build an understanding of customer requirements and actively promote products to both new and existing clients
Contact customers to verify invoice details and ensure the accuracy of information provided
Conduct weekly follow-ups on outstanding quotations to maximise sales conversion opportunities
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and feedback, providing regular updates to management
Continuously expand product knowledge through training initiatives, product research, and ongoing learning opportunities

Salary: Dependent on experience
