Internal Sales Executive

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
- Self-driven with initiative, deadline driven, excellent planning & organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands and conditions
- High attention to detail, enthusiastic and committed
- Experience within the Warehouse and Retail industry
- Experience working with electrical equipment and tools
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
DUTIES
- Process customer orders received via email and telephone, while providing assistance to walk-in customers at the sales counter
- Proactively contact prospective customers and follow up on sales leads, directing opportunities to the appropriate External Sales Representatives where required
- Ensure all order information is accurate and captured correctly before processing
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered within agreed timeframes
- Assist with quarterly stock-taking activities and inventory counts
- Build an understanding of customer requirements and actively promote products to both new and existing clients
- Contact customers to verify invoice details and ensure the accuracy of information provided
- Conduct weekly follow-ups on outstanding quotations to maximise sales conversion opportunities
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and feedback, providing regular updates to management
- Continuously expand product knowledge through training initiatives, product research, and ongoing learning opportunities
Salary: Dependent on experience
