Synopsis

A growing design-focused organisation specialising in hospitality, retail and commercial environments is looking for an experienced Interior Designer. The role is suited to a creative professional who enjoys developing customer-facing spaces while balancing brand requirements, operational needs and practical project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Create interior concepts aligned with client objectives and brand standards.
Develop layouts and space-planning solutions for commercial environments.
Select appropriate finishes, furniture, lighting and interior details.
Translate design concepts into practical project documentation.
Participate in client discussions and respond to project requirements.
Coordinate design information with project and implementation stakeholders.
Ensure concepts support operational requirements as well as visual objectives.
Contribute to hospitality, restaurant, retail and commercial interior projects.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline.
Approximately two to four years of professional interior-design experience.
Strong understanding of space planning and interior detailing.
Knowledge of finishes, lighting and furniture selection.
Relevant experience with restaurant, café, hotel, hospitality or commercial projects is advantageous.
