About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Decorator to transform residential and commercial spaces into stylish, functional, and inviting environments. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through furniture, colour, lighting, textiles, accessories, and décor.

What You'll Do

Meet with clients to understand their style, needs, and budget
Develop interior concepts, colour schemes, and décor plans
Select furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, artwork, and accessories
Create mood boards, design presentations, and room layouts
Source products, materials, and décor from suppliers
Manage supplier relationships and coordinate deliveries
Visit sites to oversee installations and ensure designs are executed correctly
Work within project budgets and timelines
Stay up to date with interior design trends, materials, and styles

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in interior decorating or design is advantageous
Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design ability
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
Strong knowledge of colour, materials, furniture, and spatial styling
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong organisational and project management abilities
