Insurance Administrator - LongTerm Insurance and Investment

Our client - A well-established financial services practice based in Pretoria - is looking to appoint a highly competent Long-Term Insurance & Investment Administrator to join its professional advisory team.

Requirements:
  • NQF Level 5 qualification in Financial Services (minimum)
  • RE5 Regulatory Examination successfully completed
  • Must be fully out of supervision and eligible to be added to the FSCA representative register
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry
  • Proven experience in long-term insurance and investment administration
  • Strong knowledge of insurer and investment provider systems and processes
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Own reliable transport
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing new business quotes and compliance documentation
  • Submitting new business applications and monitoring progress until issued
  • Coordinating medicals, nurse appointments, and outstanding underwriting requirements
  • Annual servicing of existing clients including benefit upgrades and policy amendments
  • Managing risk claims including life, disability, severe illness and income continuation benefits
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, and medical professionals to ensure claims are processed efficiently
  • Investment Administration
  • Annual client servicing, fund switches, and product upgrades
