Instrument Technician - Underground Mining

Role Overview

A mining operation in Limpopo is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to maintain and support control and instrumentation systems in an underground mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems in the mining operation.
• Support SCADA systems and industrial drive applications.
• Diagnose equipment issues and contribute to safe, reliable plant and underground operations.
• Apply control and instrumentation knowledge to maintenance and improvement work.

Requirements

• National Higher Diploma or N6 in Control and Instrumentation.
• At least two years of experience working as an Instrument Technician.
• At least two years of experience in an underground mining environment.
• SCADA (CITEC) proficiency.
• MODICON and Schneider drives knowledge.
