Role Overview

Unique Personnel needs a Import Controller who can step into a practical role in eThekwini (Durban). A key part of the work involves Prepare job profit summary and ensure invoice is sent to the customer within KPI.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Prepare job profit summary – collating of all disbursements, calculation of agency and finance fees.
Take ownership of Account for profit /loss on shipment.
Keep momentum on manage costs and negotiation of rates to ensure maximum profit.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Import Controller.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Relevant experience in ngo & non-profit or a closely related field.
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
