ICT Assistant

Role Overview

Western Cape Provincial Parliament needs a ICT Assistant who can step into a practical role in Cape Town. A key part of the work involves ICT Assistant Certification validation must be provided and certifications must be valid during the period April 2025-May 2026, should it expire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team by managing a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience in a hands-on IT support technician role within a well structured organisational environment.
  • Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a ICT Assistant.
  • Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
  • Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.
  • Maintain a professional standard of delivery, communication and follow-through.

Requirements
