A leading international Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand is seeking an experienced Human Capital Business Partner to join its KwaZulu-Natal team. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate HR professionals who thrive in fast-paced, operational environments and enjoy partnering with business leaders to drive people strategies that deliver results.

As a trusted business partner, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across a portfolio of restaurants, partnering closely with leadership to enhance employee engagement, talent development, organisational effectiveness and labour relations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align human capital strategies with operational goals and drive business performance
  • Provide end-to-end HR support across a portfolio of restaurants, ensuring consistent application of policies and practices
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive, high-performance culture
  • Support talent management processes including recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and retention strategies
  • Coach and advise line managers on people management, performance management and leadership development
  • Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances and conflict resolution
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Support organisational change initiatives and transformation programmes
  • Facilitate training and development interventions to build capability across the business


Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or generalist role
  • Experience within a fast-paced, multi-site or retail/QSR environment is highly advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
