A leading international Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand is seeking an experienced Human Capital Business Partner to join its KwaZulu-Natal team. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate HR professionals who thrive in fast-paced, operational environments and enjoy partnering with business leaders to drive people strategies that deliver results.

As a trusted business partner, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across a portfolio of restaurants, partnering closely with leadership to enhance employee engagement, talent development, organisational effectiveness and labour relations.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to align human capital strategies with operational goals and drive business performance
Provide end-to-end HR support across a portfolio of restaurants, ensuring consistent application of policies and practices
Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive, high-performance culture
Support talent management processes including recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and retention strategies
Coach and advise line managers on people management, performance management and leadership development
Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies
Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Support organisational change initiatives and transformation programmes
Facilitate training and development interventions to build capability across the business

Minimum Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or generalist role
Experience within a fast-paced, multi-site or retail/QSR environment is highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices
Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
