HSE Officer (18 month Contract)
Our client, a well established market leader building industry, specialising in luxury residential building projects, seeks to employ a SACPCMP registered and suitably experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their project team for 15-18 month project, in the Winelands regions
Please note that due to this being a contractual role, only candidates in the Western Cape region will be considered.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have completed either SAMTRAC or a Diploma in Safety Management, coupled with 5+ years experience in fully coordinating building project sites, on a regional basis, with a CHSO/ SACPCMP registration essential
- Fall Protection Plan development and HIRA certification is advantageous
- You must have hands on health and safety experience in the building sector - specifically on multi-storey building projects
- You must have a proven track record in risk assessments, as well as corrective action implementation, ensuring HSE compliance according to international and industry standards.
- You will have a proactive track record in employee and sub-contractor training and ensuring PPE standards are met.
- A sound background in preparing safety files, document management, reporting and emergency preparedness is essential
- You will have effective communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- A valid driver’s licence is essential
