HSE Assistant - Industrial Environment

Role Overview

Support the Health, Safety and Environmental function at an industrial site.

Responsibilities

• Support workplace health and safety procedures within the industrial environment.
• Assist with safety inspections and the identification of workplace risks.
• Support risk assessments, incident reporting and HSE documentation.
• Engage with operational teams and support safe onsite working practices.
• Assist with general HSE administration and compliance activities.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent safety qualification or training.
• Minimum one year of industrial experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, logistics, mining or similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Experience with safety inspections, risk assessments, incident reporting and HSE documentation will be advantageous.
• Good communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to work onsite and engage with operational teams.
