HR Coordinator
HR Coordinator Observatory Cape Town
Our client is looking for a HR Coordinator in Observatory Cape Town to support the HR department in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and employee relations.
Salary Negotiable- This is a Hybrid role
Min Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a coordinator or administrative capacity.
- Knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding – Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Employee Records Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Manage HR databases and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Employee Relations – Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- HR Administration – Prepare HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, letters of employment, and termination notices.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and ensure employees are informed about their benefits.
- Training and Development – Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Compliance and Reporting Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit HR reports as required by management.
- Performance Management – Assist in the performance appraisal process, including tracking performance reviews and follow-up actions.
- HR Projects Support HR initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to the improvement of HR processes.
