Hotel Receptionist
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and ensure every guest receives a welcoming and seamless experience from check-in to check-out.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Handle enquiries, requests, and guest concerns efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to support guest needs
- Answer calls, emails, and provide information about hotel services
- Maintain front desk procedures and ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Matric certificate (minimum requirement)
- Hospitality qualification or front office experience (advantageous)
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Knowledge of hotel systems or booking software (advantageous)
