Hotel Receptionist

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and ensure every guest receives a welcoming and seamless experience from check-in to check-out.


What You’ll Do

  • Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression
  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
  • Handle enquiries, requests, and guest concerns efficiently
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to support guest needs
  • Answer calls, emails, and provide information about hotel services
  • Maintain front desk procedures and ensure smooth daily operations


Requirements

  • Matric certificate (minimum requirement)
  • Hospitality qualification or front office experience (advantageous)
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Knowledge of hotel systems or booking software (advantageous)
