Hospitality Data Networking Business Development Manager
Have you developed relationships in the hospitality and conferencing sector?
Our client in Century City requires your proven sales experience who is comfortable with cold calling canvassing and servicing current client bases for sales in data networking, services and storage.
To be successful in this role you will require the ability to respond to tender and manage complex deal cycles.

Salary: R40,000 ctc - R50,000 ctc dependent on experience. Quarterly commission structure.

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric plus relevant tertiary qualifications – Advantageous
- 5+ years proven sales experience in networking, servers, and storage (solution/consultative selling).
- Demonstrated success in a hunter/new business role
- Comfortable with cold calling, canvassing, and high-volume prospecting
- Experience selling through channel/distributor ecosystems and working with vendor programs
- Ability to respond to tenders and manage complex deal cycles
- Solid understanding of margin/GP and how to protect profitability
DUTIES
- Own end-to-end new business development: prospecting, discovery, solution scoping, proposal/tender response, negotiation, and close.
- Execute high-volume outbound activity: cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn/social selling, and on-site canvassing
- Identify and pursue opportunities across:
- Guest Wi-Fi and back-of-house networks
- Property-wide network refresh and expansions
- Server and storage refresh projects
- Multi-site rollouts for hotel groups
- Conference connectivity and venue infrastructure
- Work closely with internal teams and channel partners to secure best pricing and availability
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast discipline (CRM)
- Represent Group professionally in customer meetings, vendor/distributor engagements, and events
- Win net-new hospitality accounts while expanding share-of-wallet in existing relationships
- Protect and grow margin through correct positioning, services attach, and deal hygiene.
Salary: R40,000 ctc - R50,000 ctc dependent on experience. Quarterly commission structure.
