Synopsis

A construction-materials business is seeking an experienced Hardware / Construction Sales Representative to manage external sales in the Bloemfontein market. The role is suited to someone with established experience selling ready-mix concrete, construction materials, cement, aggregates or hardware products to commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage external sales activity across the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain relationships with construction and hardware customers.
Achieve agreed monthly sales targets.
Identify and pursue opportunities for new customer business.
Prepare customer quotations accurately and follow up on outstanding opportunities.
Provide professional after-sales service to customers.
Prepare sales reports and maintain relevant commercial records.
Represent the business professionally during customer visits and sales discussions.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric.
Minimum five years of external sales experience.
Experience in ready-mix concrete, construction materials, cement, aggregates or the hardware industry.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
A Sales or Marketing qualification is advantageous.
