Group Operations Manager

Our client in the hospitality industry is looking for a Group Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple properties or departments, focusing on maximizing profitability, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring brand compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and analyze P&L statements to increase profitability.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain brand standards, compliance with health/safety regulations, and implement best practices across all properties.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, lead, and evaluate performance of General Managers and staff, driving employee engagement.
  • Guest Experience: Drive high-quality customer service, monitor feedback, and resolve escalated guest issues.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with head office to support corporate objectives and drive company growth. 
  • Development and maintaining exceptional Food & Beverage standards across all restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting, and room service operations.
  • Ensure Company Compliance  with food safety, health, labour, and liquor licensing regulations as well as other business licensing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–7+ years in senior operations or general management within the hospitality industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting), proficiency in PMS (Property Management Systems), strong F&B knowledge, and strong leadership skills.
  • Competencies: Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. 
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel frequently to different locations.
  • Willing to work weekends if and when needed.
  • Sound knowledge of local labour legislation and health/safety standards.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite.
