Front of House Receptionist & Administrator

Our client, a leader in their upmarket range of properties based in Century City, requires your enthusiasm, top organisational skills and energy to build and maintain the best client relationships.  This role also offers administrative support to their office team.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years in a similar role
  • Have a reliable means of transport
  • Experience working in a busy Administration and Reception role
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Office Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
 
DUTIES 
  • Welcome visitors to the Company
  • Ensure Reception area is neat, clean & tidy and the switchboard is manned at all times
  • Screen all calls, transfer all incoming calls to the correct recipient
  • Ensure visitors are comfortable should they have to wait for their appointment
  • Attend to featuring of property listings on web portals and in window displays
  • Take accurate messages when the person sought is not available
  • Ensure messages reach the person timeously
  • Comply with any other instructions that may be given by the team
  • Remain up to date with staff on leave or not in the office in order to assist visitors
  • Resolve customer queries or direct the call to the relevant person to assist
  • Ordering and managing all stationery requirements
  • Liaise with service providers
  • Facilitate troubleshooting with IT support
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with enquiries
