REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of professional front-end development experience.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
Proven production experience with either js or Nuxt.js.
Experience working with Git and version control within established codebases.
Ability to build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to ask the right questions and take ownership of tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
Must be based in Cape Town or willing to work from the office.

Advantageous

Experience working with headless CMS platforms (such as Directus).
Exposure to CRM integrations and marketing automation tools.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.

DUTIES

Develop, maintain, and enhance client-facing web applications.
Convert UI designs and technical requirements into clean, responsive, and accessible front-end solutions.
Integrate and manage dynamic website content through a headless CMS.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues, including API and third-party integration problems.
Collaborate with designers and developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices.
Take ownership of assigned projects from development through to deployment.
Work within existing codebases while contributing to ongoing improvements and enhancements.
Ensure websites are optimised for performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and best practices to support ongoing innovation.
