Form Fill & Seal Operator

A leading snack manufacturing company based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town is seeking a Form Fill and Seal Operator / Bag Maker Machine Operator to join their production team permanently within the FMCG and food manufacturing industry.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating packaging machinery within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Experience operating Form Fill and Seal (FFS) machines / bag maker machines advantageous
• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Good understanding of production and packaging processes
• Ability to work shifts and overtime when required
• Reliable transport
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of food manufacturing and packaging processes advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Form Fill and Seal (FFS) / bag maker packaging machines
• Ensure packaging output meets quality and production standards
• Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
• Reduce machine downtime and production wastage
• Ensure correct packaging materials are loaded and used correctly
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Assist with production line operations when required
• Report machine faults and maintenance requirements to management
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
