Forklift Driver (Retail Warehouse)

Our client is seeking a Forklift Driver to support safe and efficient stock movement in a retail warehouse environment. This role suits someone disciplined who understands safety, speed, and accuracy. You will move pallets, support receiving and dispatch, and maintain correct storage locations. The environment is busy and expects consistent compliance with safety and traffic rules. You will work closely with pickers and supervisors to ensure turnaround targets are achieved. If you have valid certification and a strong safety mindset, this role is a great fit.

• Operate forklifts safely to move stock, pallets, and bulk items within the warehouse.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring correct documentation and stock integrity.
• Support put-away processes and maintain accurate bin location standards.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report faults immediately.
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts where required.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure aisles remain clear and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with warehouse traffic rules at all times.

• Valid forklift licence/certification is essential.
• 1–3 years forklift driving experience, ideally in FMCG/retail warehouses.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Physically fit and comfortable working shifts/overtime.
• Basic literacy/numeracy for documentation accuracy.
• Clear criminal record may be required.
