Flexo & Digital Artwork Coordinator

Requirements
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) with a DTP qualification or certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a prepress or DTP environment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, with strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Good understanding of DTP software and prepress workflows.
  • Knowledge of digital printing processes and print file preparation.
  • General understanding of the printing industry and production processes.
  • Flexographic (Flexo) prepress experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare electronic artwork and production files for flexographic plate and cutter manufacturing for label production.
  • Prepare print-ready and cut files for digital signage and large-format printing equipment.
  • Produce artwork and print files for internal printing and publishing requirements.
  • Prepare, amend, and proof client artwork for production using both digital and flexographic printing processes.
  • Create, update, and maintain customer artwork and design files.
  • Ensure artwork complies with technical specifications, print standards, and customer requirements.
  • Perform preflight checks and make necessary artwork corrections before production.
  • Provide technical support and assist machine operators with troubleshooting related to artwork and print files.
  • Maintain accurate file management and version control for customer artwork.
  • Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure quality standards and delivery deadlines are achieved.
 
 
 
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
