Synopsis

A transport operation in Richards Bay is seeking a Fleet Controller to coordinate vehicle movements, driver communication, compliance records, and delivery performance. The role is central to safe and reliable daily fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor vehicle movements and delivery progress.
Communicate schedules, route changes, and operational instructions to drivers.
Record delays, incidents, breakdowns, and corrective actions.
Maintain fleet, trip, fuel, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate vehicle servicing and escalation of defects.
Provide customers with timely status updates.
Compile daily and weekly fleet performance reports.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Experience in fleet control, dispatch, transport administration, or logistics.
Good knowledge of route, driver, and vehicle coordination.
Comfort working with tracking, transport, or fleet-management systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work shifts and respond calmly to operational disruptions.
