Financial & Showroom Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for a suitable individual to take responsibility for the accurate processing and reconciliation of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashbook and Showroom administrative tasks. The portfolio will suit a knowledgeable, skilled, practical, enthusiastic and highly energized person.



REQUIREMENTS:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Bookkeeping certificate or similar
  • 2-5 years experience in finance required
  • Previous experience with Pastel and iQ Retail advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of Accounting principals
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hard working and self-motivated
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with a cross functional team
  • Own transport
 
DUTIES:
  • General finance administration
  • Petty cash processing and Reconciliation
  • Cash book processing and reconciliation
  • Debtors Reconciliations and Queries
  • Processing and Reconciliation of Local creditor accounts
  • Processing of Adhoc/Nominal payments and beneficiaries
  • Updating and maintaining filing system and records
  • Assisting with Stocktaking where needed
  • Identify and address any discrepancies
  • Showroom Administrative tasks
  • Assisting FM and Directors with adhoc tasks to ensure smooth office operations
