Financial Planning Partner Assistant

Our client, a well-established financial services provider, is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Partner Assistant to join their team based in Constantia.

This role is ideal for a highly organised financial services professional who enjoys supporting Financial Planning Partners, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the smooth administration of financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to Financial Planning Partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Prepare client documentation and maintain accurate client records.
  • Process new business applications and manage client onboarding.
  • Perform FICA and AML administration.
  • Liaise with product providers regarding client transactions and queries.
  • Monitor new business, policy transfers, and commission payments.
  • Maintain accurate client information on Xplan.
  • Prepare documentation for client reviews and portfolio reporting.
  • Assist with diary management, client meetings, and office administration.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2–3 years' experience within the financial services industry.
  • Previous experience supporting a Financial Adviser, Financial Planner, Wealth Manager, or Financial Planning Practice.
  • Working knowledge of Xplan or a similar financial planning CRM system.
  • Strong understanding of FAIS and FICA requirements.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational, and client service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Preferred Candidate

The successful candidate will:
  • Reside in or near the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and be able to commute daily to Constantia.
  • Be comfortable working 100% office-based (Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00).
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Be proactive, professional, and client-focused.
  • Be willing to commit to a 12-month fixed-term contract.
