Synopsis

An industrial services organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to oversee financial management across its operational branches. The position combines management accounting, cost accounting, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting and annual audit responsibilities and requires a finance professional comfortable working closely with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage financial activities across the organisation's operational branches.
Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
Manage cost-accounting processes within the operating environment.
Maintain and review Bills of Material used for costing and financial control.
Monitor and manage inventory-control processes.
Prepare budgets and forecasts and monitor financial performance against expectations.
Support management with accurate financial information for operational decision-making.
Coordinate the annual financial audit and related information requirements.
Maintain appropriate financial controls across relevant business processes.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Degree in Accounting.
More than five years of experience in Financial Management.
Practical Cost Accounting experience.
Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting and forecasting.
Ability to operate effectively within an industrial or operational business environment.
