Our client is seeking a Financial Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance leadership. This role is ideal for someone who can ensure clean month-end delivery while also partnering with leadership to improve financial performance. You will be responsible for strengthening governance, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining audit readiness. The role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure consistent financial discipline. Manage financial reporting cycles including month-end close, management packs, and statutory reporting inputs.
Oversee reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet substantiation to ensure ledger integrity.
Manage compliance packs, VAT support documentation, and audit readiness across the finance function.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to finance policies and procedures.
Coordinate audit activities and respond to audit queries with complete and traceable support.
Drive process improvements, automation, and data quality enhancements within finance operations.

Degree in Accounting/Finance is essential.
7–12 years finance experience with leadership exposure.
Strong technical accounting and reporting capability (IFRS knowledge advantageous).
Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
