Our client is appointing a Financial Controller to lead finance governance, reporting quality, and strong control environments across the business. This role requires someone who can own the close process end-to-end while driving disciplined compliance and audit readiness. You will manage senior reporting deliverables, support leadership decision-making, and ensure financial integrity at all times. Own and manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Review reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet substantiation, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
Lead statutory reporting support, audit coordination, and compliance documentation readiness.
Oversee internal controls, risk mitigation, and governance processes across finance operations.
Support budgets, forecasts, and performance management with clear reporting and commentary.
Work with leadership to provide decision support, scenario analysis, and performance insights.
Drive finance process improvements, automation, and system optimisation initiatives.

CA(SA) or equivalent strongly preferred.
8–15 years finance experience, including leadership and controls responsibility.
Strong IFRS knowledge and strong audit/compliance experience.
Advanced Excel skills; ERP system proficiency essential.
Strong stakeholder communication and leadership capability.
High integrity, strong attention to detail, and deadline discipline.
